The Holiday Shopping Card is a unique way to donate to the American Cancer Society and save 20% at over 700 of the finest retailers in the Houston and surrounding areas.  This card is sponsored by VICTORY, an all-volunteer branch of the American Cancer Society, whose mission is to raise funds for cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient services.

Due to the generosity of our underwriters and the volunteer efforts of VICTORY members, your entire $70 minimum donation is fully tax-deductible and goes directly to the American Cancer Society.

Can $70 really make a difference?  YES!  Here are your dollars at work in the Houston area.

• $30 provides a cancer patient with transportation to and from the medical facility where one receives life-saving cancer treatment.
• $50 provides a wig for a cancer patient that has lost one’s hair due to treatments
• $50 funds a support group session to help cancer patients and their family members understand and cope with cancer
• $60 provides approximately 20 hours of toll-free access for the American Cancer Society’s National Cancer Information Center.  This center receives 1.2 million calls every year.
• $100 provides overnight accommodations at a free or reduced rate for cancer patients who must travel to receive treatment
• $250 provides a mastectomy patient with a fitting and permanent breast prosthesis
